Bartoline Paraffin is also known as Paraffin Oil, Liquid Paraffin or Kerosene/Kerosine and has many uses, the most popular being a fuel for domestic paraffin heaters and greenhouse heaters. very safe stuff... only lights when given something to burn ie a wick for example so super safe if you drop or knock lantern or heather over which I have done in the past and had scary results.. Very poor quality
I have never had such poor quality paraffin before. I purchased it for my paraffin heater in my greenhouse. I set it up as usual like I have done for many years, opened the vents and closed the door. When I went back the following morning the smell and the vapour was so bad my plants were dead, the air was thick with a vapour fog. I turned of the heater and left the door open. It has taken over a week to get rid of the smell. I now have a oil filled radiator, much nicer. As for my plants, well I have to start all over again.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
