Gas fire is excellent packaging very poor.
This gas fire is excellent for my workshop My grumble is the poor packaging around the castors. My product arrived damaged due to the flimsiness of the surrounding cardboard. Two castors were bashed in that needed me to strip down the metal base and beat out the metalwork straight again and add an extra set of larger washers to ensure the castors did not catch the metalwork. The top end of the box had some extra strong reinforcement around the control panel. which is good but the base end needs this as well. The build of the fire is quite light and flexi considering the weight when a 15kg bottle is installed but I don't intend moving it about much so it will not be a problem for me.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lightweight but works satisfactorily
Disappointed with the build of the heater and the flimsy platform that supports the gas bottle. The platform castor is bent making it difficult to move the unit around the floor. The heater controls all work and it gives off a good heat. Packaging was just the manufacturer's box which didn't give much protection to the heater in transit. Stylis and practical
Best value for money on ebay. This is a stylish and light weight heater. It is easy to move and to use. The surface is very easy to clean and the top suround will not over heat, so no danger of accidental burning. It burns clean and is very efficient. Lighting the heater is simple and easy to do. Excellent value with good safetry features. For the money hard to beat. Does what it says on the tin. Pull rather tahn push if moving it around on carpet with the bottle in. An excellent product
This is the second exact heater I have purchased. I use them to heat my two modelling garden sheds. The first one I have had for three years now and has worked faultlessly, In the winter months it quickly heats a shed 13` x 7` 4minutes on maximum heat setting and then maintains a comfortable warmth on minimum setting. I use this shed daily for about 4 hours and a 15kg Butane cylinder lasts two to three months in winter. The cylinder costs me £25 each time plus free delivery from a local supplier. I can thoroughly recommend this product. Quality of materials is good. The heater can appear a littlle flimsy with the weight of a 15kg cylinder until the backplate is attached otherwise I have had absolutely no problems with the performance of mine and expect this second one to be the same.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
