If Let Them Talk had a slightly burnished, rich veneer, Didn't It Rain is a bit lighter, with Laurie content to let himself slip into the background as both pianist and vocalist, which is odd as he has considerably fewer guests here than he did on his debut.

Great Suprise within this CD
OK I'm a glam rock fan, mixed with a bit of heavy rock and some blues, I heard a track off this "Weed smokers Dream", and had to look further into his music, what a surprise, I mean to say, Hugh Laurie the actor, is such a great musician, singing is pretty good, but his band along with Gaby Moreno make this a must CD. I will maybe have to look further back to Jazz music now

A real talented musician
It seemed really odd seeing actor "House" (etc) playing blues on his first album /DVD. That is a great album, and this is just as good. Can't wait for the third!
