Better for the smaller sizes
It's fine, and it works OK. I wanted one for a 9.5 inch plate. The blurb said it fitted up to 10 inches or so, and it does. But to do that, (and to fit my 9.5 inch one), you have to stretch the springs beyond their natural elasticity. The still have some spring in them when you do this, and they work OK even when stretched, so it still grips the plate and does the job, and I'm not complaining. But when you take the hanger off, it does not return to its original length. So it seems to me that a bigger size would have been better, (or perhaps a construction material for the springs that was more 'springy") - but then I guess it would have been more expensive. It works, but not quite as well as I had thought it might, hence the "OK" rating from me. It is however good value and I think would be excellent for slightly smaller plates.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
