Excellent entry-level multi-effects.
This is basically the RP50 with a built-in expression pedal added - and it works very well. You can assign any parameter to the expression pedal - wah and volume swell being the obvious ones. The 40 factory presets are a bit extreme, but you can tweak them yourself or create whole new patches from scratch to suit any style of music - and those can be saved on 40 separate user-editable patches, giving 80 altogether. It's easy to program, has a huge range of sounds and effects - certainly everything you could buy single effect pedals to do - but of course the quality isn't totally top notch at this price. Having said that, it's terrific value for money, and I'd recommend it if you're just starting out with electric gear. The other really useful feature is the drum machine - loads or patterns and all fully controllable - brilliant. It takes 6 AA batteries - they last quite well but if you don't use rechargables (and if not, why not) then make sure you get one with the mains adaptor, or your battery bill is going to get significant!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
