Essential if you're serious about photography
A colorimeter is an essential tool for reading, on your screen, the degree of contrast, luminance and colour balance of your photos. I've been stunned by a few shots that I thought were passée until I balanced my screen; so this also helps you to see what you have Whether you're printing at home or taking to a pro printworks it's essential because, after using it, what you see is what you get Easy to install. For Win 7, use the Software. For 8/10 see below Once installed, a doddle to use Eye-one and it's big brother, X-Rite are the industry standard. In my opinion you don't need/gain anything with the Eye-one 3. People end up buying it because the 'display 2' finishes at Windows 7 but if you check the www : Eye-One Display 2 Windows 10 (or 8) there's a guy who shows a simple process of getting X-rite to run the display 2 on Win10. Well worth it at full price but now you'll find a bargain in the Display 2 Wouldn't be without mine
