Condition:
SWISH SOLOGLYDE OLD STYLE DOVETAIL BRACKETS. The modern version has leverlock brackets. The older versions had the dovetail type design. Over the years, this too has altered slightly. Of these many replace the screws with their own longer ones that do the job.

Good for the correct rail
These look like they will do the job well for the correct rail. Unfortunately I bought the wrong type so I can't use them. That was completely my error and no fault of the seller. However I did by the Harrison Drape version which are much the same except that the gripping jaws are much closer together. I have to say that the Harrison Drape version was a much better design than the originals which were installed many years ago so I replaced the lot for the particular rail. The new ones are also much sturdier but with the same general dimensions as the originals. It may well be that these Sologlyde ones are equally better. There is nothing to lose for the price and I found mine were easily installed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I was a bit worried because the curtain rail is very old and I couldn't get the brackets anywhere. Then I looked on eBay and there they were. My husband fitted them. He did say the small screws that come with them would be better if they were slightly longer but he managed by using the original ones on the old broken brackets. Bracket too narrow.Screws too short.
The gap on the bracket moulding is too narrow for the original Swish track to fit into easily. The bracket has to be prised open with a screwdriver or similar to allow the track to fit. Once you have done this the screws fitted into the bracket are too short to tighten the bracket onto the track and have to be replaced with longer screws.Is it really worth the effort?Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Screws too short
