this is a great value for money item and does the job adequately, of course there better crimpers on the market with more features but for the money it does the job. There is no maximum pressure valve to indicate that the jaws are fully closed as on the more expensive items, and this takes a bit of getting used to, but it is only the same as using a hand crimper. As with all hexagonal Dies there can be an issue with some of the tighter rolled cables in the middle size range (25-50) and some makes of lugs, but the answer as always is to use one die of the cable size and one of the size below this produces a good tight joint. All of that said it is a well constructed machine and takes very little effort to get good results once you get used to using it .
