Excellent all round lens once calibrated
Straight out of the box I was getting back focus images. So i bought the DSLRKIT Lens Focus Calibration Tool with the sigma dock. About an hour later of calibrating and the lens is super sharp. Great accessory for Nikon D610
Previously only used zoom lenses. I did a bit of research before buying this lens and they all said best value for money. They are absolutely correct nothing else matches the clarity of this lens. I was always dubious about forking out the extra cash for a 1.4g lens and whilst I wouldn't say it is 5 times better, it is a definite improvement on the 1.8g (and I have only played with it for a week).
