Balance Knob when turning has static or miss sound, but once stop and on correct setting the sound is normal. Excellent Sound. serial as NOTED/Pictured for record. When all set and not moving sounds perfectly as it should, the static are due parts from storage and not being used.

A real sleeper of an amplifier
The KA-5700 is a real sleeper amplifier. It sounds like a far larger amp and regularly produces well over the rated 40 WPC. It is well designed, durable and more reliable than many of its peers from this time. You can't beat those power meters either, just beautiful.
