Assembly was straightforward, but the instructions are not the clearest. We have used this to cut around 2 cubic meters of logs so far, with no problems. Fitted it with a cheap electric chainsaw from Lidl - we have needed to readjust the clamp which holds the saw to the horse after prolonged use to ensure the chain does not start to run against the edge of the clamp. The whole setup is cheap enough to be left permanently set up by the log pile and is used as and when needed by any adult in the household. In practice, the saw is very easy to use on most sizes of log, but if used on small diameters for kindling (say less than 2cm), it can cause the wood to kick back. In summary, a great product for the job. So much easier, safer and faster than using a free held petrol saw.

Very sturdy piece of kit and Fairly straight forward to assemble. I have used this several times over a few weeks and have found it to be invaluable. I've cut small 2 inch and large 8 inch logs quickly and efficiently. If I had to be critical I'd say the clamping mechanism for the chainsaw bar takes quite a bit of tightening up to fully secure it firmly. But over all I'm happy with the performance and price.

Appears to be the same or very similar to others under different brand names and sometimes much more expensive. Excellent for cutting reasonably straight, moderate thickness logs. Not suitable for very heavy or thick logs, but not intended for that. Assembly is easy - though takes a bit of patience.

I was presently surprised just how sturdy and well made this Rhyas saw horse is once assembled. My only criticism is the assembly instructions are non-existent but if you look at the picture it is not difficult to workout as long as you like 3D puzzles !!! In use it works well with both my electric or petrol chainsaws and attaching or removing the saws is quick and easy. It is much easier to use and safer than cutting logs on the ground with no need to up-cut. If the stop arm is used it produces even length logs which stack evenly and look neat and tidy. I bought my saw horse from ishop247 who provided the best price and customer support after Hermes managed to destroy the packaging and loose parts of the first one the company sent out. My overall impression great product and one of the best under £40 spends I have had.Read full review

Bought this much reduced and it works a treat on branches up to about 8 inches thick. Solidly made and easy to set up.
