My vehicle has a low tire pressure alarm system. I have had the alarm activate after routine tire changes. This tool is used to reset the system to clear the alarm. Tpsm not reset
This item may work for other Ford vehicles, but it wouldn't activate my tpsm valve stems to train my vehicle...i purchased new OEM valve stems and new tires..i put my vehicle in training mode and followed direction's on dash... device wouldn't activate valve stem to teach left front tire .. so i could not get the tpsm resetVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Well the worth the cost? A good time saver

ford tpms sensor
I have a 2008 ford e-150 cargo van. and do all my oil and tire rotation , and check the brakes, I set the proper tire pressure ( 55 psi in the front and 80 psi in the rear) and re-set the tpms sensor , works well for me , once I got the print-out from the ford dealership, on how to used and set the calibrator tool. Will save you a lot of money and time by not leaving your car into a dealership.
I am absolutely thrilled with this. I had a faulty tyre sensor on my 2015 Ford Mondeo which I thought was a slow puncture. I rang Ford and they wanted €34 for a replacement sensor. I bought one on TomTom for €11.50. When I replaced it and went through all the required procedures, ( letting out air, magnets, etc.) I still had the tyre pressure sensor monitor light coming on. I bought the TPMS reader and it resetted all the sensors, including the new one in 5 minutes. It's a brilliant little kit to have. Ford wanted me to leave the car into them and I hate to think what that might have cost. I'm going to buy 3 more sensors for approx. €35 and have them in the event of any of the others going bad.
