Fun Product
The Note Tablet is a unique product due to the touch rom and all the features. It is fun going through the settings and discovering all the capabilities of this device. I took away a star because Samsung doesn't seem interested in extending the period of time they support a flagship device like this with updates and future development. This tablet should have at least been updated to 5.1.1 and they could have built upon the touchwiz features, that is my biggest gripe with Samsung.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

The tablet itself is great. Only problem I have with it is the battery. Its fully charged, after one episode of anything on anything, it's down to 75%. Start watching another episode about 30-45 min long and decide to check the battery percentage half way through and I'm down to 36%. By the third episode half way through I'm below 15%. On my phone I start watching shows on hulu or Netflix with 60% and it lasts about 5-6 episodes. That's about 3.5hrs. Tablet lasts me about 1.5hrs.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Very happy with this tablet.
It's too bad Samsung does not make this tablet anymore. It is lightweight, great size, and has a dock for the stylus which all the new ones that I researched do not have this feature.

Great older table for the kids
Unit works wonderfully. Bought it and another like it for my two young children. As the price of these has dropped, these have become excellent value tablets. Good power, and quality built, and a nice size. Much better value than buying a new knock-off tablet. Perfect tablet for me
I have struggled with finding a tablet that meets my needs and have tried many. The Samsung Note 8 has a brilliant screen, a size for travel that is large enough without being cumbersome. It has a SD card slot so storage is not a problem. The processor is fast and screens refresh quickly. Sound quality is good with dual speakers. I tried both 7" and 10.1" and neither quite fit the bill. Accessories are readily available so it is easy to find cases and screen protectors. A lot better then expected....
The battery time is over 8 hours easy and since the screen is a power eater I keep it set lower. But here's what is great about this Samsung.... you don't have to have the screen at 100% to see it ! I thought since it didn't have the OLED that the quality would stink.... boy was I wrong. The faster processor makes a big difference too............ I mean BIG Difference.
