A lot bigger than I thought
My old Makita has been conking out so I was looking for a replacement and found this and read the reviews, which sounded good so I ordered it and it was delivered 2 days later, when I unpacked the box I was amazed at how big it was compared to what I had used before, I had been a gardening contractor for 20 years and have worn out 5 previous strimmers and although I had some with cow horns before they were not as big as this, and some mention the lightweight, well it is almost twice the weight of my old one, which is a pain. So this is probably overkill for doing the edges of the lawn and the rough patches and it is difficult to turn on it's side for edging the borders, it is only the price that makes it worth keeping. I have now customised the handles using the hoop from the old strimmer and making a new support for the throttle assembly, which has made it more usable for me, you can't fault the power of the machine as goes through long grass easily on half throttle. The shaft is easy to split into half, which I find dreat as I can store it on a shelf, and you could transport it in an ordinary car boot.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very heavy.
The strimmer is advertised on Ebay as "lightweight and easy to use" at 5.800.(?) Their website advertises the same machine as "very light" at 6.9kg. The machine is actually a real heavyweight at a fraction short of 9kg empty - more with fuel. It is probably good value if you want a heavy duty machine, but may not be suitable if you want a "lightweight and easy to use" machine as advertised.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Get what you pay for
I was once a contracted gardener and have used stihl and other strimmers for many years and know how a good strimmer should perform. This strimmer is good you get what you pay for. Although the strimmer does its job it didn't feel like a 52cc strimmer as advertised, felt a bit under powered. The bump feed for the cable seems a little sensitive for my liking and it don't have a blade fitted to the strimmer cover to cut of the excess line if you required too much so I can see in the future there will be excessive wear to the cover over time/use. The fuel consumption is high and replacing the strimmer line is a pain in the backside at first but ain't so bad once you get the nak. Instruction manual is mostly useless, not very clear or parts displayed isn't the parts you have. This machine is a little on the heavy side. The harness is a bit fiddly as it requires you to insert a bar to attach the harness to the strimmer a simple hook would've been easier.

balanced and manageable
The machine arrived on time, and easy to assemble. this is the longest strimmer that I have used. I was a bit dubious about buying such a large one, but i'm glad that i went ahead with the purchase. I am now used to its power and qualities, and quite happy with work it can do. Outstanding strimmer
For the price alone , this strimmer is amazing , If honest for the money I expected something a little flimsier and cheap looking . It is unbelievably good value for money
I was able to assemble and start the machine very easily. Only minor problem was the fuel line from the tank to the engine kept floating out of the fuel and the engine stopped, but I just poked it further intio the tank and it has been fine since. Garden machinery
I bought this thinking it wouldn’t be that good but will do for the job I had to do. When it arrived I was amazed at the quality of it for the price. Really good
Really good value this strimmer used it this weekend to clear a really overgrown garden and it was really good. Motor was really easy to start even and ran perfect. Only bad point was the harness it came with the straps wouldn't stay tight and kept coming undone which ment i had to take the full weight of the strimmer ( not that heavy) which might be a problem for some people over long periods of use but maybe i got a dodgy one!
