Unfortunately there aren't any nickel ones available right now but it looks good anyway and is one of the best made, a single piece of aluminum which is a good tone metal. Also comes with it's own locking studs. Wouldn't have hurt if they provided the cheap little wrench like Tonepros, but the bridge itself is what really matters. Unlike a true wrap-around, there's no awkward removal and reinstallation needed to change strings. Great product.

I really wanted to give it a stellar review... The stud mounts were smaller than the original ones, and the threads didn't fit the existing stud mounts, so I had to compromise by leaving the old studs in place, which almost didn't work because I had to force the bridge into place because the thickness of the bridge ears were the same size as the original stud space that they fit into. Luckily they fit... tight, but workable. But that is all my error for not checking the specs well enough. The main issue I have with it is that it's lighter (I think it may be chrome plated pot metal) than the original wraparound bridge that came on the guitar, and because of that, there was a noticeably 'thinner" sound with less resonance and sustain compared to the heavier original bridge. I still have it in place at the moment because I like the look, but a heavier metal for this bridge would have been far superior IMHO, and I may end up pulling it off and putting the original wraparound bridge back on at the next string change. But it still "looks" cool...Read full review

looks great, feels great under my palm (most wraparound bridges are uncomfortable for me), and i like how the top nut locks everything down unlike many wraparound bridges that are held in place solely by string tension. plenty of throw in both the mounting slots and individual saddles for easy intonation. docking a single star as the anchors didn't fit my korean bc rich guitar. i modify guitars a lot and have never had an issue with bridge anchors not fitting. these were a bit small in diameter and a bit deeper. i was able to work with it, but i was surprised it was not a drop-in replacement. i've looked and there don't seem to be import and domestic versions of bridge anchors, so i'm a little baffled.

Excellent product. Just know this is intended for American made product with imperial sizing. Will not work with metric without modifying and using the supplied posts and studs. Bridge will not work with metric studs.

A perfect upgrade for a stop tail wraparound LP Jr. type bridge. I used this on a handmade custom build, so I didn't need to match up existing holes or spacing, so measure yours carefully. It is almost infinitely adjustable; post holes don't need to be offset like the usual Gibson-type bridges because of the adjustments built in for intonation and height. It is a stylish, eye-catching practical bridge, and well worth the money, as are all Hipshot products. They don't fail!

Good bridge with a few issues 1 too expensive for what it is 2 high e string saddle is too close to rear of bridge real sharp break angle 3 good adjustability back and forth up and down 4 anchor bolts are good and creates a solid bridge mount 5 not convinced it achieves its advertised claim of improved intonation And even string tension 6 nice piece, it's not going to make a bad guitar good , hard to see the cost in it 6
