  • Amazing stuff!

Superb product. Very easy to apply and produces a great finish. Don't treat it like varnish and ladle it on with a paint brush (1st coat you can) - read and follow the instructions on the tin. Each coat uses tiny quantities, so it's very economical.

  • Looks Great

Up until this year we had always used Teak Oil on the outside bench, but after reading reviews about the Danish Oil we thought we would give it a go. Extremely pleased with the results, it's quite a runny consistency compared to the Teak Oil and not as sticky once applied, which the Teak Oil was until it soaked into the wood and for a time after. The Danish Oil soaks into the wood very quickly and even with the one coat it looked far better than it had done in years, after a second coat the results were really good, the wood looked nourished and the Danish Oil gave a soft shine to the surface. We did add a third coat although unsure as to whether it was needed, but the bench does stay outside uncovered all year round, it's now highly waterproof and has made the bench look years younger, which considering it's 40+ years old is not a bad thing.

  • Simply the best!

This is the 2nd time I've purchased Bestwood Danish Oil. The first time was several years ago, and it was to treat some oak barrels. The barrels, which are an outdoor feature, are as good today as the day they were first treated and only now, several years later, need another application. The quality is excellent and is by far the best brand I have ever used. The price is very good, too. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this product.

  • Great quality at a great price

I used this on some new furniture - flat pack. Once assembled I gave it just the one treatment with your Danish oil and it took on a completely different hue - it looked a lot more expensive and of course it is well protected. I have plenty left so will use again on come of our older pine furniture - great stuff.

  • Does what it says on the tin

Bought this Danish oil to see if it really did do what it said on the tin! Yes totally agree it easy to apply/pour onto a lint free cloth or brush. Soaked into the wood very well and was dry within an hour. It does provide a water resistant surface. Good product.

  • Excellent, will buy again

Ive been using the very expensive Colron danish oil for a while as it has great results. As I have a lot of outside wooden furniture I decided to look into a cheaper alternative and found this. So far it seems to be at least as good and about 1/5 of the price. Would be great if there was the option for different colours but I guess I could add wood stain if needed. I will probably be buying another 5L soon as it really is good stuff!

  • Danish Oil

Bought this Danish Oil to use on my new shed as the shed was a lovely colour when we bought it and we couldn't find a stain to match so a colleague at work suggested Danish Oil. Have put one good coat on and it went on lovely and when dry looks great!!!!

  • Great quality Danish Oil

I have just treated over 60m of 30mm Oak cladding with the Bestwood Danish Oil. The coverage was excellent and the features of the Oak grain was considerably enhanced. The oil is easy to apply with a decent paint brush.

  • Perfect for wood

After researching the best way to feed and protect oak I decided on Danish oil. I wanted a natural look with no colour involved. This is great. It took in lots to begin with and turned the wood dark but after a few days dried off leaving it looking natural. More added until it no longer soaked in leaving the wood looking natural and protected. I applied using a soft varnishing brush then buffed after leaving for a while. Quality oil at a great price
