Fantastic item but grill tray could be bigger
Great item that assembles very easily and is equally easy to fold up and pack away. The legs lock down with pins that hold them in place to ensure that it does not fall over whilst you are using it and overall it is very sturdy. We also used it as a BBQ at the weekend and my only criticism would be that the circular grill insert needs to be a little larger as it is very small and sits right on top of the coals making the food too close to the hot coals. Great light weight fire pit

off ground fire pit
compact when stowed away also quite light in weight but how it can be used as a barbeque I am not sure I had to find a piece of mesh that sits across the top of the fire pit so I could use it as a barbeque as there isn't a mesh for barbequing provided with the fire pit but it say's that it can be used both as a fire pit and barbeque also most camp sites don't mind the fire pit on site as the legs keep it off the ground which avoids scorching the grass which most campsites would not like to see it is also quite easy to clean after use when it cools down remove the ashes in the fire pit get a cloth and soapy water and all the ashes will clean off without too much effort some burnishing will remain but that is no detriment to the fire pit works well and is very good functionally other than the issue of the mesh for bbq'ing I have found it to be a good product and well worth the money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Ideal fire pit to take way camping.
This fire pit is ideal to use as a fire pit when going away camping. It packs away nice and flat as it has fold away legs. I wou wouldnt recommend using it as a bbq though as the grill is to small and sits to low into the main body. Also I would check that the nuts and bolts that hold the legs are light as I have found that was of the nuts was missing and the other 3 were very loose and close to coming off!. Functionally OK.
This functions perfectly well as a fire pit. When I unboxed it there was quite a lot of paint flaking off and usually I would have returned it but as it’s only going camping and will get knocked about anyway I didn’t bother (or have time). Inexpensive focal point
Lightweight, folds away, looks the part but more importantly does the job. I needed a fast replacement for my rusted through previous fire pit and this was with next day delivery. It was less expensive than many others, okay so I do not expect it to last for years but that is not the point. For a round of pub drinks, there it was the focal point in the evening doing its job of giving out heat. My friends wanted to buy it from me afterwards. When it had cooled down, I folded it away and put it in the shed for the next time. Excellent bit of kit for the money, every home should have one. rusty on arrival!
it arrived rusty which is not ideal, clearly and suggest that it will not withstand either water or fire. I have not tried it yet, but the fact that it was corroded already is a very bad sign. It is also really fragile and likely to break after very few uses.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
