    Get what you pay for

    Plastic frame sections used to tighten the frame when putting together were brittle and stated to split when tightening and this was without putting to much pressure on the bolts. But even worse was the clamp which is used to hold bike up for maintenance work keep sliding off and causing bike to fall to the ground on more than one occasion, despite the my bike only weighing 10kg.     A useful bike stand

    The stand is well made, solid, and does what I wanted. It is a little inconvenient that either two, or all three, of the feet have to be removed for compact storage (rather than folding away, tripod-like), but this is simple enough, and has the advantage of providing a good solid platform to work on (and clean) the bike. Height adjustment is very good, and the grip clamp is also very solid. There is a "loose/adjustable arm" that is presumably best attached at one end to the horizontal bar, and can be used (I guess) to support the handlebars, but the assembly drawings did not really help me understand how this is best used. I'm sure a more competent technician would have no problem in understanding its use, and it is not crucial to the overall support. In summary, I'm very happy with this product.

    Nice bit of kit

    Don't buy one for workshop use as you will be disappointed but for DIY/Home use it is great. It's quick to assemble so dismantling it between uses is an option. Would recommend for home use.
