Great Backup Power
This is a truly excellent product. I have used it numerous times to jump start my 5-liter stored vehicle and it has never failed me. Bolt kicks the VOLTS
Took the newly arrived (fresh from the box, no charge) to a pre-hersal for a car auction. Humbug getting them to jump start the cars with dead batteries, eh? So I take my own. Bolt was gangbusters! Started 5 vehicles, 3 of which were beyond death! Had to use the override function. ALL start on the first or second turn! And the Bolt was ready for more, again without plugging in the charger (still had 93% showing after the horror show at the auction). Jumped two more cars back at my business the next day and one more the 3rd day before I finally plugged it in for a recharge...STILL over 90% remaining! If it continues this performance, my boss, with his $230 VersaPak from Matco is gonna have a bird! Recommended? You bet. Oh and did I mention filling the "tank" on my iPhone and iPad on the road? Works and Travel Friendly
Taken this a few times now. Last was Spain. Perfect size. Small and compact to fit in my airplane travel bag. Keeps a good charge. I can charge my phone 2-3 times from it before recharging it. Great for when you have a 18 hour travel day and your phone is constantly searching for WiFi in Europe. You do get what you pay for: it is a $12 (this is what I paid) portable charger, but I have had no issues. I usually put on top of the other and they fit nicely and compact together in my bag. I'm so old school that it took me decades to get rid of my charger cables. They were heavy, greasy from use, an armful to take out and use. I've been having battery problems for months. It's not the battery and it's not the alternator. It's partly because I hardly drive this car. I finally had the chance to use this battery starter today instead of calling AAA again. After experiencing a dead batter at Disney World, a security guard jump started our truck with one of these. He told us that he can use it multiple times in a shift. I couldn't believe based on the small size of this thing. My F-150 was dead-as-a-doornail-dead, and it cranked up immediately. This charger and all the peripherals including the jumper cables are high quality. I've had other chargers that were cheap in every way and they didn't last. The charger came with a 90% charge so it took little time to fully charge. Comes with a handy case that holds everything and has room for additional phone charging cables. Bolt Power Portable charger Car Jumper
I am so pleased with this purchase! I have used it a couple of times to jump my F150 pick up as well as to charge my phone.
