Trusty Silavent!
We have used the MAY102B model of Silavent extractor fan for the past 19 years. This one we just ordered is our fifth one, so its about one fan every five years, which is extremely good value when you consider the workload these fans have to take on, what with showers, bathing, and general use of the facilities. An excellent little workhorse, very nice clean design lines - it would enhance any bath, as its unobtrusiveness will not overwhelm your decor. The installation process couldn't be easier for subsequent replacements. Just remove the cover by unscrewing the centre screw, then unscrew the four mounting screws, and grasp the fan firmly on either side and pull it out of its socket. Do a bit of cleaning around the existing space, and for this model, just position and plug in the new one. Replace the four mounting screws, ensuring the fan is securely seated, (don't want wobbly vibrbations!) Set the new cover in place and secure with the centre mounting screw! Voila! I do know this model doesn't seem to be widely available in high street shops, so your best bet in locating one would be online. Good value and highly recommended.
