A China sapphire 1mil tip in grey shell. Not a 3mil 78rpm tip! Disappointing.
A cheap China-made sapphire 1mil tip in grey shell. NOT a 3mil 78rpm tip! Disappointing. P.S. 78rpm requires 2.5mil to 3mil tips to play correctly. LPs (33rpm) on the other hand require 0.7mil. Most cheap (nostalgia) record players (Crosley clones) come with 1mil tips made of sapphire (wears very fast) as a compromise, but this stylus setup is neither optimised for 78rpms nor for LPs.
