I think it is just as good as the name brand
I am just a beginner soap maker. From my limited experience with sodium hydroxide I see no difference from this sodium hydroxide and the name brand sodium hydroxide I have purchased from the hardware store. Works Well
I'm especially pleased with the container because I don't have a problem returning lye into it when I need to. It works very well with the different liquids that I use to pour into my oils for making CP and HP soaps. I've used it with full lemon juice, pumpkin puree, coconut, oat, and goat milks without a problem. Lord willing, I plant to return for more in the future.

Good product and fast shipping
I am sure there are lots of great uses for this chemical, but I use it mainly to clean my sink and bathtub drains when they start to get full of hair and clog up. Works fine
I like it well enough, though I don't know if I'll reorder. I'm not crazy about the packaging. It's harder to pour from these bottles than from the brand I usually use. Easy to pour and reseal
