Basic Captain Hook Costume
Bought this for a school play-appears to best available at this kind of price. Bought a medium as I wanted it to fit my son for the play next month and not be too baggy. He is within the measurements stated. The trousers are the right length but the jacket barely comes past his hipbone and the sleeves are rather short. The jacket is made of very thin, floppy material-it is not stiff as it appears to be in the picture-if you hold it up to the light you can see through the material. (I have bought a costume of this brand before with a jacket which was much stiffer.)I think the next size would be too wide and baggy for my son so am sticking with this one and adding lacy cuffs to it. The hat is also very cheap. Hopefully the costume will look ok from a distance and with a wig and new hat to accompany it. I would not describe this costume as deluxe. Have rated it as 'OK' as I am keeping it but overall, rather disappointing.
