Light but effective and easy to apply
It came as quickly as could be expected during the Covid lockdown: good. I needed it for two hall runners I'd bought which turned out to be as mobile as magic carpets: completely lethal. It was easy to apply and has kept the rugs in place very well so far. There is probably enough left to do two more 8' x 2' runners, should I need to. The tape is a lot lighter than what I used before for a similar job. The old tape was the very devil to remove. It remains to be seen if this lighter tape will be easier to remove when the time comes. That would be handy, as I had to use a lot of it, given the skid-pan backing on the hall runners.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Tough to remove
I bought this to hold some carpet down on a stand at a show I was doing. It was easy to use and held the carpet in place, but when it came to removing it after the show it just disintegrated and removal was practically impossible. It was in place for 3 days. Maybe I should have looked for more specific tape to use - I certainly will next time as I am facing a £10/meter charge for removal now. As proper carpet tape I have no complaints, but thought I would mention the issue I encountered in case anyone else was considering the same application.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works on non-smooth surfaces as well!
I was initially concerned that I had bought the wrong product, as the product packaging only specifies "for smooth surfaces". But I tried using it to attach rugs to carpet, and it has worked well. I used it to attach 2 rugs - one 2.5mx1.5m, one 1mx0.5m - to regularly walked on carpeted areas. These rugs previously moved every time they were walked on, but since using the tape they haven't at all. After a few weeks with no movement, I can confirm success. Does the job but a little dissappointing,
Used for carpet laying, it's cheap and does the job but a little dissappointing the adhesive is not as strong as I expected, it is very thin, in fact it is not much thicker that double sided selotape. I suppose you get what you pay for!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Industrial strength double sided carpet tape .
i haven't used it yet'. But i have used 1 the same it sticks so strong. I could not stop my carpet Runner from moving all over the place used 1 like this'. It has not moved '. Not Fit for Purpose.
Firstly this tape isn't cloth: it's a thin plastic film the same as similar tapes sold by stationers. It is also so lacking in adhesion that it is difficult to remove the backing after sticking it to the floor as the tape itself pulls off with it.
