  • Back jolt.

The log splitter is solid enough but it can be hard work when the tension on the log is on, then suddenly it will split and can jolt your back, But it's ok for the price.

  • Great device.

This splitter is absolutely brilliant , it is so simple to use and split every log I put on it. It split 8" diameter 10" long logs effortless, It also split 20" diameter rounds 6" thick no problem. Great device.

  • Not fit for purpose

I received today and after 3p mi utes this is now banished to the shed, it's very poor for the task it was made for. The logs continually jump out or the splitter slips and you end up stamping the ground. Takes four leg pumps to split a thin branch, if you are lucky. Any that do split you have to pull them apart because it doesn't have the force to travel the full length of the log. Stick with your axe, this just is'nt worth it. Put the £44 on a donkey at Newmarket, you'd get more out of it.
