No More Squealing
Received this a while ago but fitted it today. Very easy to apply to the Pads and it stopped the squealing immediately. I would definitely recommend this product if your brakes are new or still useable and there squealing/squeaking when driving or when you press the Brake Pedal. "Anti Squeal" pads fitted to the 8 OEM front pads of Audi TTRS Mk3, Ceratec grease used as mounting paste. Squealing has not reduced and initially louder and longer! HOWEVER very little distance covered since fitment (4 days ago) and only town driving. Needs further fast road use and braking to confirm if squealing has been reduced. Please note that squealing only occurs when pulling up to a halt at very low speeds. Have ticked "Yes" instead of "No" to all three boxes above as this was required in order to write this product review. Worked Perfectly
I didn't want to fork out 45 quid for pad shims from Toyota so I bought these, test drove the car after fitting them and my high pitch squeel was gone. It also got rid of the horrible groaning noise that my brakes made while reversing. For £5 these are an absolute winner, other reviews claiming they don't work either have a different issue or they did it wrong (which is pretty hard to do). If your car requires shims but doesn't have them then this will work for you. For reference I fitted them to 2000 Toyota Celica that has brembo pads. Exactly as advertised.
I have a Trike with EBC bake pads on the front and Wilwood on the rear. Both were squealing badly when the brakes were applied. This is a very expensive V8 powered Trike and I was embarrassed by the squealing. The EBC shims have completely solved the problem. I tried the other sprays and greases but they didn't work for long. No more squealing!! Saved £££s!!
These EBC Anti-noise pads have completely taken away the squeal my TRW discs and pads were causing. Used on a Merc C220 (w204) Front pads only... From extremely loud to now silent... I had replaced the discs and pads numerous times under warranty and had the same problem. Was considering either another £400 set of brakes or selling the car because the noise was that bad and embarrassing!! EBC Anti noise adhesive pads have literally saved me £££ hundreds!! Turns out the pistons when braking were contacting a very small area of metal on the rear top edge, inside/back brake pad. The pads (OEM manufactured) didn't have the protection of rubber covering that section of the pad and was the same on all sets that I purchased. Some careful cutting and sticking of EBC anti-squeal pads and they have silenced the car completely. Done about 1000miles since and still silent! Hopefully they last the duration of the brake pads use.... But at £6 for 4 EBC strips, I'll happily buy and fit more of the adhesive strips if the noise returns before the pads / discs are wornVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
