Star of the Thanksgiving dinner
Back in the 70's I was gifted an "Early American Cookbook" that I lent out. It had a persimmon pudding recipe in it that was always a hit at Thanksgiving. It was very simple & I've found it again in this wonderful cookbook. While I liked the pudding, I didn't think it was anything that great. However, the guys went crazy over it so next year I made several 'puddings'. Well, one guest ate one whole pudding, one ate the other & everyone raved about the one that was left. Score!!!!!!!
