Decksavers are definitely worth considering for any compatible product to keep dust and other stuff out off those pressure knobs, faders and buttons. Some people consider them to be quite pricey, but there aren't really many (if any) other options apart from a cloth, but that won't protect the controls from being knocked or having someone place something on top of your (probably) expensive kit. As for this particular unit, it's marketed as fitting the DDJ-RB (as well as the SB and SB2). Although it does fit really snuggly around the main frame of the RB, the 'notches' on the two front corners means it actually sits on top of the play/cue buttons on the front left and the loop trigger buttons on the front right. Because it's very light, it doesn't actually press down on the buttons, but if someone did place something on top of it, it would likely push those buttons down, and who knows what kind of long-term damage that might do. To counter this slightly, I pinched an idea from another review and placed a small but of sticky-back foam pads on each corner which helps it sit slightly higher, yet is still quite snug around the frame. That's the only negative for me with regards buying it for an RB. You'll have to decide whether or not you can live with that yourself, but what I will say is that once I received I realised that it was a good purchase overall - there's only so much switch-cleaner can do once too much dust gets into those nooks and crannies!Read full review

I recently purchased a new Pioneer DDJ SB3 controller and needed an appropriate cover for obvious reasons. When I’m on the road DJing, for convenience sake, I use a rucksack but unfortunately the make and model of the cover shown doesn’t fit snug enough, it’s loose and moves about. (Don’t know if it’s the same for the SB2 model) If you’re not on the move with your controller and you simply just use it at home without being mobile then it might work for you because it literally just sits on the controller. Definitely won’t recommend* it for club DJs on the go, I’d look for another brand. *(Reviewing the product not the sellers)

Excellent product for anyone with a Pioneer DDJ SB2. Fits absolutely snug as a rug with the SB2 controller. The quality is pretty good also and resting headphones on it is fine. It states it's for the DDJ SB version but i can't review on an SB as I don't have it. Would definitely recommend it...

Not only does the protect your ddj-rb from dust but the cover itself is good quality and the price is really low I believe this to be a very good decksaver and I will be buying two 4 my CDJs I highly recommend this to anybody

Very good protection for your controller, both from dust and damage. I could perhaps have wished that the plastic were a little thicker, but other than that it's great.
