A good "old fashioned" tool roll. Made from a sort of Sued'ey leather which looks like it will last a good few years. Some of the pockets are a bit small and I could have done with a "popper" type closure but these are just minor niggles. It gives a satisfying feel as I unroll it before starting work. Almost as if I am about to extract information from an unfortunate victim. It does leave a bit of debris / fluff around after use but I expect that will clear up over time.

It is nice suede leather, well stitched.The pockets take all the chisels I need to store width wise, but a slight problem is it is a bit short for chisel length, in my case by 2", so the top flap that seals the chisels doesn't reach over the top. This isn't a massive problem because the tape tie binds them all tight. I am not sure that the single rivet through the woven polyester tape will hold it for long, but time will tell and i'll fix it if it fails. A good value roll that arrived quickly.

Nice to have real leather as it's for my chisels, and they would cut through a canvas roll. The pocket sizes are rather erratic, but if I had to make hundreds of them a day I probably wouldn't be too fussy either. Quite stiff when new, but that's no bad thing. Recommended.

Very useful chisel roll. I am a joiner and bought this for a standard set of chisels. It's made well but if it is genuine hide it doesn't smell like it!. Regardless, it's tough enough. My only complaint is it is not deep enough for longer chisels to comfortably fit under the flap. I have have tried this with different sets of chisels and same issue. Nevertheless it seems well made and for the price well worth the purchase.

Purchased two, having had some similar before, which I still have and use regularly for small tools, and as a car tool set immediately to hand for minor jobs. These two new ones will be used to store backpacking tools for cooking , for later in the year. I always wash out any suede products to remove excess colour pigments, dry slowly and apply a dressing afterwards, which has given me years of use and caused me no problems. The alternative use for these is as a tool belt, apron, when I am doing woodwork, and they will, as previously, serve in that role admirably. At a pinch I have also used them as a material source to repair rucksacks, straps, even walking boots, and knee patches. Tool roll seems sturdy & is made of fairly thick suede leather to protect from the sharp ends of tools. It was bought to safely contain rope & cord splicing, cutting etc tools & seems ideal for the job. Some reviews suggest the closure cord could be stitched rather than riveted and I tend to agree, although it seems fairly secure, time will tell. For the cost this seems a good tool roll and fits my intended purpose well.
