Great little tubing cutter for 3-22mm tubes
I wanted this pipe cutter to cut some 11mm thin-walled aluminium tubing, and it worked perfectly. It stayed on the original groove (didn't wander), and cut the tubing very cleanly. I see that the cutting wheel is removable, so I'm guessing that it can be replaced easily when it wears out. Poorly made pipe cutter
3 main things wrong with it: 1. The paint on it is so thick that it was stopping the slider adjustment from moving up and down the cutter and thus the cutter from working - I had to scrape the paint off the sides before it could work as it should. 2. The cutting wheel looks OK, but the slot that it sits in is far too wide, so the wheel inside it can wobble quite freely - not good for accurate cuts, and likely to just spiral up the pipe rather than stay in one place and cut the pipe. 3. There is a metal de-burring tool on the side, but this is so stiff to operate that I haven't managed to get it open yet.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not very effective
Hi. I tried to 'go cheap' with this mini cutter, but it doesn't appear able to stay on one spot - instead screwing its way along the pipe. I then bought a larger cutter that was immediately excellent.
