Quality product but poor photo on the box does not give the product justice
Ok first impression the picture on the box does not truly reflect the quality of the model. The train has fine details from the loco to the freight and the track is equal to scale in my opinion. The train runs smoothly and connects and disconnects with freight with ease with a little practice. The power connectors are a little fiddly but again with practice becomes easier. If you would ask me would I buy this again ? The answer is yes I already have, this was to extend my layout even though you get a decent amount of track to start with value for money it made sense to get two rather than buy separate items and probably cost more without the additional loco from the second set. Fragile but fun.
This is a great starter set for anyone getting into N gauge. The only thing is that the trains are VERY fragile. I almost crushed mine pulling it out of its box but it runs REALLY well and isn't loud like a lot of other N guage trains. Arnold Hornby European train set
Although this set is European standard, meaning the track is the same gauge but the trains are slightly smaller than British N gauge sets, on a stand alone set this becomes irrelevant. Arnold sets seem to be of very good quality, and are half the price of a British N gauge set with the same track layout. So unless this set is to expand an existing layout where the difference in the size of rolling stock may be noticeable, I would definitely recommend this set.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
