A 'must have' gadget to reach those hard to get to places or for those who have trouble bending. It is lightweight as the shaft is manufactured from Aluminium and very easy to use, simply squeeze the lever on the handle to close the claw. It is a generous 76cm (30") in length and also has a magnetic tip for attracting light metal objects. Ideal for those of us who are less mobile, hard to reach places, litter picking, etc. One jaw has a rubber grip attached and the other has a ridged surface so it is suitable for picking up a whole host of objects. Maximum jaw opening is 90cm.

    Good. But be careful.

Good price and this design is the best on the market but it has limits when lifting items. Over the years I've broken two dozen either by the spring snapping or the handle snapping. In addition the grabber twists. If only the grabber could be fixed in place and the spring strengthened they would last for years. I use mine a lot but still can't get used to the weight limits.Mine last about three months. I suppose even better quality wouldn't make economic sense for the manufacturers.

Litter Picker which is more trouble than it sworth - litterally

This product looked like good value, it isn't. The trigger does not work properly with the grip at the opposite end. You cannot release the hand grip to operate the product properly. If you do, the picker end opens up way too far and you have to reset it every single time which means you get so frustrated trying to us it you just want to throw it in the nearest bin and say goodbye to the £5.45 I had spent on it. I would never ever recommend this product to a living soul.

  • Brilliant product

Thank you for this excellent handy helper, mine is going to be used in a way you may not have expected. It is going to be used for picking up after my dog, when we are out. This is because I am disabled and find bending down really difficult, so this is the perfect tool for me. Maybe others can use the grabber in this way too. 🐕🐾😀

  • superb product!

injured my back fairly seriously recently and was immobilised for over two weeks - without the grabber life would have been significantly more trying & difficult. it's light, very portable, easy to use, and the trigger and claw are both very responsive. have bought one for an elderly friend too. one almost anticipates with some pleasure dropping an item only to be able to pick it up again with ease.

  • just what we wanted for elderly relative

Very good. Simple to use. Quick delivery. We discovered item can be found slightly cheaper in store,. but very satisfied.

  • Thought I would give it a try - but is cheap and useless

I typically baulk from buying from these type of suppliers, however as there was difficulty getting one in the UK, I thought I would "go for it". Perhaps unsurprisingly this was a useless piece of kit. And I mean useless in the literal sense. What is the point of the claws - when pressed together by the trigger - not having any strength to pick up even one sheet of paper? The claws don't work - pure and simple. The old saying hangs true - You get what you pay for!

  • Cheap bargain for the everyday things we always seem to drop

Not normal one to leave reviews but this has got to be the best £5.79 think I have ever spent, I've just bought a second one, I had severe pain in back for 2 months and had an xray to say 2 fractures in back and and seemed to be dropping things more than normal, seen this advertised so bought one and really good, I can pick pens up, even tiny ointment tops, books, TV remotes, newspapers, tablet bottles, anything small and reach distance it for me is spot on. It's not built for heavy lifting so anyone buying think it may pick up bricks then this s the wrong tool. I've not had first one that long but I seem to be using it a lot, so bought second one so have one upstairs and one downstairs. It's not made using top quality components so don't expect it for £5.79 but for that price is for nothing what saves you grief with back pain.

  • Good product value for money

For the price it works well, this is the 2nd one we have purchased and the first is still working well after nearly a year.

The pick up item is totally useless, taking it carefully out of the bubble rap it came apart I managed to put it together but it does not pick anything up. Total waste of money

  • Long armed grabber

Bought these for my elderly dad to pick things up when he can't bend down. Excellent value so I could get him one for each room. He loves them and finds them very easy to use.
