This is our Platter Isolating Kit for Rega decks, designed to decouple the platter from the sub-platter, effectively absorbing vibration and resonance generated by the motor and the main bearing. Originally developed for our superb Athena Turntable, these isolating discs also work very well on all Rega decks.

Platter height adjuster shims.
I appreciate that people will want to hear me describe the acoustic improvements. It makes sense to isolate my ultra low friction sub platter from the platter but I'm not sure I can tell. The real benefit is being able to quickly adjust the platter height on a turntable using a rega arm. Sorry. That's my take.
