Cleans well not convinced on the re-proofing
I had 2 jackets to clean and re-proof; a lined anorak and an Oakley ski jacket. In both instances I pre-cleaned the jackets with normal washing powder and did stain removal, with Vanish before putting the jackets individually through a wash with the Craghoppers cleaner and re-proofer. Following the instructions I use the wash as described in the detergent dispenser and the re-proofer in the conditioner dispenser of my washing machine. Finally I tumble dried each to activate the re-proofing. The process was simple enough and both jackets came out fantastically clean. The white bits on my ski jacket are again a brilliant white, and the anorak even felt clean to wear. However, having splashed water on the jackets rather than actually using them in the rain I noticed that in both cases, the water didn't bead at all and just soaked into the fabric. Maybe they'll perform better in the rain, but so far I'm not convinced the water-proofing has has any effect.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
