Selecta WeedPAK. Good but could be better!
A very useful piece of kit, but some shortcomings. The handle is not very securely fixed, and continually works loose. The two 6 volt batteries could have been better replaced by one 12 volt! The hose is very useful being very long, but storage for it is totally inadequate and it frequently falls off its so-called storage hook! Also the wiring diagram that is found in the accompanying booklet did not in any way resemble the actual fitted loom. Finally, the charger LED works fine until it is plugged in to the socket on the machine. It just goes out and stays that way. Suspecting it to be faulty, I got another from the suppliers, but it still did the same thing, so knowing that the current has to flow in one direction only for an LED to work, I suspect that somewhere on the wiring loom cables have been unwittingly reversed. Could be on the pup connections. Not certain. The strange thing is that it works perfectly well on my earlier purchased machine of exactly the same kind! So it must be the wrongly connected wiring loom somewhere in the circuit.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good but could be even better
Well constructed and reasonably priced but I would suggest the following improvements to the manufacturer. 1. The hose at 6 metres is far too long and cumbersome. It should be half that length. 2. The flow rate is too high which means product is wasted as it is delivered so fast. 3. Removing unused product or cleaning out requires tipping the whole thing upside down as there is no drain facility. 4. Would not one 12 volt battery be more sensible than two 6 volt in series?Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
