OK on thin steel only
This was only £14.99. The seam edger will not work on steel above 0.9mm thick, unless you have the strength of Hercules. I had to resort to a pneumatic version as my steel sheet was 1.2mm, but I think it’d be OK on thinner steel if you do not have the luxury of a compressor.

very lite duty
the product was as described but was not heavy duty. I could not flange 1.4mm steel on my 56 chevy bel-air. so would be ok on new cars were panels are only 1mm but no thicker than that.

Awfull
A great tool let down by poor engineering . The dies don't close tight enough to crimp the plate in a uniform way. Useless for making over lap panells etc. The punch is ok in thin aluminium . All in all a let down .

Nice little tool ! ;-)
Helped me to complete a good job filling in an open air sunroof! I joggled the car roof so the infill piece sat flush to the car. I used some panel bonding material to stick the roof in place, then used some rivets to mechanically fix in place on my race car. Jobs a good un.

need to specify item maximum thickness suitably
could only hole a couple of holes , might hole sometimes then would jam, need to be strongman , this was with only 0.8 mm metal. Advert should have specified max thickness item was suitable for. Had to finally use drill for holes for car sill

Low quality tool
