Does the job
This is a solid (meaning heavy) transformer that's very quiet and does the job required of it. I bought it to run several EU-plug reptile heating mats, which at 35W's each isn't much of a load. But I foresee using the transformer for other 220V appliances in the future, I like the fact it has both 110V and 220V outlets and wish I had this model when I was serving in Iraq. I don't really need a USB charging port here in the U.S., but that would probably be a great added feature to have if traveling overseas.
