Perfect to avoid arm/elbow pains when lifting!
On the whole a very good idea, with a few twitches the design would be ideal: I woud prefer it made of steel because I hate having plastic lying around my habitat, but I must say that I am very happy with the difference it makes to arthritic joints when making a cup of tea... The switch button could do with being further up the back -or perhaps even to the fron tor side, as it often gets activated accidentally when replacing the kettle on its base. The base itself also would benefit from being higher as one must tip the mug to fill it right up, which causes spills. With all these design issues resolved, iit definitely would be worth its high price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Smart, cute and very useful
Excellent product, I have MS with some weakness in my hands and wrists; recently bought a normal kettle but found it too heavy to lift either to fill or pour. So, having previously bought my 95 eyar old Mum one of these (she'd broken her arm in a fall) and seen how easy it was, treated myself. It's bleddy brilliant. Very simple to fill, as it's plastic and light when empty; so very easy to pour into a mug or teapot. It's not cheap, but as a unique design, it is very much worth it. Comes with a 2 year guarantee as well, which shows confidence. Can completely recommend if you have problems lifting or holding a heavy object or safety issues with pouring hot liquids. this really has helped my elderly mother in law, with weak wrists and arthritic hands she struggles, this really is a fantastic invention,so simple but so effective, easy to fill you dont even have to lift anything to fill it just get a small plastic jug.but its very very light and lifts in and out of its cradle easily enough anyway which is so convenient, the tilting feature is very smooth,and once youve got the hang of having the cup in the right spot your all ready,,,clearly marked to see how much water it needs and a bright on and off light,youll be enjoying more regular drinks with this, genuinly a highly recommended kettle 10/10Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Uccello kettle
Mum suffers from limited mobility and has poor upper strength so lifting traditional kettles are difficult for her. Paid £44 for it which is on par with a good quality kettle. Design is excellent, it is a slim design. Kettle lifts out & fits back in stand easily, The lid is easy to open & it holds quite a large amount of water. Best on market at moment
Great kettle if lifting is an issue. You’ll need a light jug to fill it with. Could be improved but best I could find on market. Wish it was cheaper but disabled products are always expensive. It looks good very stylish. Practice with cold water in it to gauge where to put your cup. I put a waterproof coaster where my mug should go so can get it right. Bought for my elderly mother in law , we were worried about her lifting the kettle, and this kettle does not require you to lift it. Brilliant design
Only 4 stars because it's still early days, but first impressions are excellent. I bought it for my mother who lives in a care home and had difficulty in lifting standard kettles. There are other 'kettle tippers' available but they have 'disabled person' stamped all over them. This one actually looks cool and I'd have it in my own kitchen.
