  • A Better Way For Recovery

This book is great because it doesn't rely on any deity. It allows the individual to understand the triggers and logical ways to self talk to resist activity that has negative effects in ones life. It's very easy to put the work on a god or what ever ones higher power is... this book teaches ways that one can take responsibility for their recovery and not feel like a heal. Forgiving myself was possibly the most difficult part for me. By working the tools provided in this book change has come... it's not easy at first but days become weeks and weeks become months, well you get the idea. You'll be glad to learn how to change and conduct your life in a positive way... a great alternative to AA. Depend on yourself to be free of any vice

  • It is almost opposite of the so-called " Big Book" of AA.

It is a reality based program rather than spiritual. it offers a practical guide for recovery.
