I've recently got back into skating as a middle aged man, and my rock hard 53mm wheels were rattling me to pieces on the gnarly tarmac on the way to work. I stuck these on my deck along with a pair of risers and the difference was night and day. Barely rideable sections are now smooth and fast and I can carry speed so much better. These wheels are probably not for you if you spend all your time skating smooth parks, and they're probably not that great at sliding if that's your thing. But for cruising around on battered streets popping off a few curbs they're damn near perfect. They're well priced too, and I like the minimal graphics - though that might not be to everyone's taste. Just make sure your trucks / risers are high enough so you don't get wheel bite. First pic shows them next to my old 53s for scale.Read full review

These are the best wheels I've ridden in my 15 years of skating. They're reliable, soft enough to get you over bumps and cracks yet still get a decent speed up which is rare I've found for softer wheels. Overall 5/5
