I love collecting unusual stuffed animals - you'll never find a teddy bear here, but I narwhals, a platypus, a bat winged cat, to name a very small example. And after seeing Finding Dory, I knew I had to have Hank the octo-- well, septuapus.
Most stuffed animals are the same, truly and other than shape and colour, there's little to differential them. But Hank is quite an unusual find - excellent workmanship, beautiful and unusual textures, different patterns that will last a long time.
I realise this from a 49-year old woman, but at night it's comforting to touch something reassuring. Sometimes I reach for my husband, sometimes I reach for something small and fuzzy (the cats sleep by my feet, or knees, but not in my arms).
Hank is definitely a step above any other stuffed octopus and animals!
