This is the genuine stuff. Make sure the tape has a plain white paper backing which you peel off. Bought some from my local fishing shop and the backing was white with green line squares. The tape looks identical but was absolutely useless. Beware of imitation.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Review of Sakuma reflective tape.
This tape is absolutely useless. Its hard to separate the tape from the backing and it often simply splits making it unusable. I tried it on a new rod tip which was totally clean and it wouldn't adhere to the rod as it is simply not sticky enough. Extremely poor value product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
