Does what we needed it to do - rewind VHS tapes - Transferring onto DVD
We wish it had a "soft stop" feature , where it slows down the speed gradually to stop. I purchased this one because the ad said it " Had been tested and works great ". My wife is transferring numerous VHS onto DVD for her 5 siblings , so this rewinder has been helpful in accomplishing that end . At least 50-60 tapes were rewound with it and it seemed to work fine . My old thinking was that an RCA brand would be better quality than some "off" brand I had never heard of .

Not impressed with performance
The rewinder was fine until 3 of the tapes that I rewound came off their spools. Needless to say, I was annoyed when that happened. I guess the only thing I can do is, somehow reattach the tapes back onto the spools. Very disappointed.
