A good router for DD-WRT
I was looking for a suitable router to run the open-source DD-WRT firmware. I got this E1200v2, which fits the bill nicely (although, I believe, the E1200v1 can also run a smaller version of DD-WRT). I am currently using it to provide guest access to the Internet while blocking access to my disk drives, printers, and computers - something which DD-WRT is more than capable of doing (assuming you have the patience to figure out how). I have also used it to emulate the effects of a Level 3 switch for debugging at work (although, of course, at a much lower rate than would be possible with a hardware-based switch). I have used the stock firmware only briefly, although it seemed to function within its limitations. You certainly can't quibble about the price:
