Keeps the barrel from being damaged
Fits a modified crossman 1377 carbine with 18'' barrel fine. Will not fall off under light use, just make sure your barrel has the flat part in front. Keeps the barrel from being damaged. Crosman Pumpmaster 760 front site
This plastic front site has the newer fiber optic spot incorporated into it which makes targeting easier with easier light differentiation of the blade. The site is a snug friction fit to the barrel with a built-in internal key that mates with the top flat area cut into the front of the barrel. Perfect fit on my middle age 760 rev D. The site has some slight rotational adjustment when seated for aligning the sight. If the owner carefully glues the sight down this adjustment is lost. The snug friction fit unfortunately means the site can slide off if the barrel is caught on a branch or gun sock. The site can also fall off if it develops an age or defect crack and loses the friction fit. If the rifle is not equipped with a scope, the loss of the front site makes aiming impossible. Considering the low price, a spare site may be a good idea. This same site is also available without the fiber optic (different p/n) for the purists that want to keep older 760's completely original.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
