Why pay more for the 9404
Outstanding sander, exactly the same as the one I used 35years ago when I started my apprenticeship as a bench joiner. Great power, good weight, the only difference is that now I'm big enough so that it doesn't drag me along the bench with everyone in the place laughing at me, and sending me to the store's for a left-handed screwdriver, a glass hammer or a box of sparks for the grinder! Gits! Anyway.. what's the point in buying the 9404 for double the money when, if you don't use a beltsander every day, this one will definitely do the job just as well.. as recommended by the carpenter who's just realised he's getting old and misses the "good old days" lolVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Heavy duty
I've been using this in my wood shop for a while now and it's well made and balanced.i highly recommend to anyone.works really smooth and isn't as loud so it's very comfortable to work with for long hours. The only negative thing I found about the sander is the dust collection.there isn't enough space between the sanding belt and the frame of the sander so some dust escapes out but if you use a vacuum it will help a lot.
