Just right
This is a really good value, attractive back brush, made with natural materials (no plastic!). I like the fact that it's neither too scratchy nor too soft. The bristles look well set; none has fallen out yet after several weeks of use. Note that it's a straight handle configuration; if you need a bit of angle at the brush end to reach your back better (I don't), look elsewhere. Most of the wooden ones I've seen that do that have detachable heads, which might be handy for other scrubbing duties, but which can also slip off unexpectedly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not the best.
I bought this thinking it would be better than the plastic ones. The bristles are very soft and flatten easily from the 1st use. I also noticed a very pungent smell from the brush when it became wet. It smelled like manure slurry something I haven’t smelled since I was a kid but remember all too well lol! The bristles are quite soft but the handle is about 10cm shorter than the one it's replacing. I thought it might be too short for me to use, but I did manage with it, so it's no real problem.
