I cannot comment on whether this is accurate or not because i have no means of finding out! However, I have confidence that the reading was correct. I bought this just to check that things are OK (no symptoms, but I am in my early 60s). Item rather awkward to carry out especially collecting the blood sample and then adding "buffer" reagent. Provided only a broad spectrum result.
