Gently Lifts the Dirt and Maintains your Polished Finish
Over the years I'd been looking and trying-out a wide range of car shampoo then discovered this as recommended by a Mercedes owners' club website. I wax and polish my car at least 3 times per year so selecting a shampoo in the interim that doesn't wash away and helps preserve all the hard work was essential. Three capfuls (look how shallow the cap is) per bucket of warm water goes a long way and lasts me just over 12-months (keeping 2 cars clean). Rich suds and excellent shine
I have used a number of Meguiars car cleaning products before and decided to purchase their Gold Class shampoo. The shampoo is thick from when poured from the container and it makes an excellent foam / suds into a bucket. Using a power washer for a few seconds to spray into the bucket briefly will greatly increase the foam / suds. It feels smooth and silky on the paint work and imparts a very good shine and rinses off easy. It can also be used in a foam lance and I have tried both a bucket wash using a lambs wool mitt and also a foam lance. I would certainly recommend this product for those who are wanting to really look after the finish of their cars' paintwork. Seems expensive, but only a small amount is required for each wash. I have a black car and other shampoos I have tried have left marks after drying. All you need from a quality car shampoo.
This is a lovely product to use. It produces plenty of suds and is silky smooth to use. You only need a very little to make a bucket full so in the long run it is very good value. When dried (using a micro fibre drying towel) it leaves a smooth and shiny finish. For a car shampoo it cannot be beaten it does everything you need a quality product to do. Not cheap, but worth it.
Bought this after being disappointed with Halfords own brand product, and reading a review of Meguiars online. After using Meguiars to wash my wife's car, and our campervan, I was amazed at the ease with which it shifts winter mud and salt residue. It makes up a rich foam and left the bodywork bright and shiny, with the minimum of effort. It's not cheap to buy, but, as you only use a very small amount each time, it works out cheaper per wash than apparently cheaper products. Goes a long way.
Only used it once on 2 cars, froths up well and does a pretty good job at cleaning. Once I'd rinsed the cars with a hose I had to go over with a polishing cloth as there were a few streaks.
