Takes time but it works
I have been using this since May last year to help reduce a swollen scar on my neck where I had 5 stitches. The wound was very deep and the scar looked awful. I have one of the best dermatologists on the West Coast. She recommended Aquaphor to me, to heal some skin that was damaged decades ago. It worked. It's kind of like Vaseline, the difference is that Vaseline is 99% Petroleum, Vs. Aquaphor's 41% which allows oxygen in while the ointment's on. It's incredible.
